Na Mamo Kaiaulu

Hawaiian culture is full of traditional knowledge and practices passed down through generations. At the Na Mamo Kaiaulu event, you’re given the chance to immerse yourself in these practices and learn ways to incorporate healing and spiritual approaches into your daily lives. This year’s focus is on plant-based medicine.

The event showcases special workshops, native Hawaiian games and vendors, as well as arts and crafts, exhibits, and demonstrations.

Night Markets

Partake in a weekend of artisan creations and live entertainment at two distinct night markets. 

Downtown Lihue 2nd Saturday Night Market

Discover everything from baked goods to locally made crafts at this popular night market on Kress Street. Free and family-friendly, the Hawaii Tourism Authority and Alakoko Shop invite you to experience the Spirit of Aloha at this festive event.

Princeville Night Market

Live music, food trucks, and more than 40 of the best makers on Kauai will be on the North Shore for this popular September event. Shop for beautiful pottery pieces, woodworking, custom jewelry, photography, and much more!

Once you make your rounds to all the stalls, grab a bite from a food truck, and check out the three distinct music areas where you can dance or kick back and soak in the sights.

Kauai’s Best: The Beach House Craft Fair

Head to the Beach House Restaurant for one-of-a-kind Kauai keepsakes at this fun craft fair. Traditional Hawaiian snacks, live music, family-friendly activities, and a huge variety of vendors selling clothing, crafts, and everything in between will be on-site all morning long.

After you’ve scoped out all the booths, spend the afternoon in Old Koloa Town checking out this historic part of the island. Cap off the day right where you began – with dinner at The Beach House. Their seasonal menus always feature the freshest ingredients, and the waterfront views are sure to impress.

Kauai Mokihana Festival

With a mission to “promote, preserve, and perpetuate the Hawaiian culture,” through music, dance, and traditional performances, the Mokihana Festival brings a week of immersive experiences you won’t want to miss!

From concerts and song competitions to workshops and hula exhibitions, this festival celebrates everything we love about our beautiful island and ohana.
