On the easternmost end of Poipu beach is another family beach called Brennecke’s Beach. The waters near the shore have easy waves for body boarding for beginners. Body surfing is quite popular here and is also preferred by the locals. As you go further offshore the waves are ideal for experienced surfers and so this particular beach is ideal for both the novice and the super surfer of the family. A part of the beach is well protected and proves to be ideal for safe snorkeling and swimming.
To combat natural erosion, the local community recently added a large amount of sand and restored the beach to its pristine crescent shape. The beach is now even more breathtaking, with the Poipu Kai Resort in the front and a short walking distance from Nihi Kai Villas.
