Swinging Bridge Hanapepe Town

Looking to explore Kauai's art scene? Look no further than Hanapepe Town! Known as "Kauai's Biggest Little Town," Hanapepe Town was once a bustling town filled with sailors between WWI and the 1950s. Today, it is a town steeped in history with authentic, plantation-style buildings that are now home to art galleries, boutiques, and eateries. In fact, the town was even used as the inspiration behind the art of Disney's Lilo and Stitch and appeared in films such as Flight of the Intruder and The Thornbirds.

Every Friday evening the art galleries and studios open their doors inviting in guests to celebrate both local and international artists. During these Art Nights, the streets are also lined with live music, artists, and merchants. Spend a night strolling through Hanapepe Town to enjoy the local art and culture of this picturesque Kauai town!
