Description

Hale Mana'olana (Hope House) is just what you're looking for on your Kauai vacation, with a large open layout allowing plenty of space for gathering. The home has A/C in all bedrooms and the media room for those hot Kauai nights. The large pool and spa are wonderful to enjoy when you're not out adventuring or enjoying the nearby beaches (approx. one mile to Poipu Beach). This unique, custom-built home is also close to many restaurants, attractions, and the Kiahuna Golf Course. It's a great location, situated in a quiet neighborhood, allowing you to experience the peace of Kauai after you spend your day exploring. With two separate living areas inside and a large private outdoor area, everyone will have more than enough space to relax.
There are 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in this 4,000 sq ft home. The master bedroom has sliding door access to the pool deck and a King bed. The master bathroom has a giant double-headed zero-entry shower, a large soaking tub, two separate vanity areas, two walk-in closets, and two water closets. This master suite is situated away from the living areas and provides lots of privacy. Just down the hall, one bedroom has two twin beds and another bedroom has a queen bed and they share a jack-n-jill bathroom. This bathroom also has separate vanities, a big shower, and a soaking tub. Upstairs could be considered a second master suite, with a king bed and its en suite bathroom, as well as a private upstairs lanai that overlooks the pool area and has views of the ocean.
The gourmet kitchen in this home is well-equipped and offers another space for gathering. There is a large island for food preparation, a dining table, and a peninsula offering seating for five. A sliding glass door off the kitchen allows access to the built-in barbecue on the patio. In addition to the dining options in the kitchen, there is a large dining table in the common area that provides a gathering place for larger family meals.
Not only is there a large pool deck to enjoy on one side of the house, but there is a spacious outdoor living area on the opposite side of the house that faces the garden and the mature fruit trees in the yard. This house also has an outdoor shower to use after a day at the beach.
Apart from the master suite on the second floor, this house is all on one level, making it a great place to stay for those with mobility issues or physical disabilities.

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It fit everyone comfortably and it was spotless clean. Very clear instructions on everything in the home, including with the pool and hot tub. I loved that all the light switches are labeled. This was extremely helpful considering how many lights there were. The pool and hot tub were a great alternative during the Kona storms. A little flooding in the house from the big storms, but management got right on it and brought a fan to dry the carpet. I recommend this home for families and would definitely stay here again! Love this house and neighborhood. Plenty of room to space out and the kitchen is incredible for cooking home meals. We love it here and can’t wait to come back. Also, the athletic club is so much fun; awesome gym and pickleball courts!

This house was a great selection for me and my party of 10! The cleanliness of the home was spectacular! The house has a gourmet kitchen, and we were able to prepare a wonderful breakfast and even a nice dinner. The house is so spacious we each enjoyed it together as well as separately. There was a review about no AC in the family area, but in the instruction book, it tells you to leave all doors open to get the most wind. We did that and we always left the fans on which made for a really nice breeze. We congregated a lot in the family room and we were fine. (We were there in August) The property is beautiful! Every room has a sliding door with beautiful views. Landscaping is that of an oasis! I would definitely book this property again. It was 4 married couples and two friends which the two bedrooms were perfect for. All of our bedrooms were nice and cool each night and during the day. This house was the icing on the cake for us on such a beautiful island. Plenty of space for everyone! Nice to take walks in a beautiful neighborhood. The neighbor across the street was super friendly and even brought us fruit from her trees.
