Save on car rental, you can walk east to Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt or head west down the hill to Brennecke Beach, Poipu Beach, Puka Dogs, and Brennecke’s restaurant. Continue west to Waiohai, Kiahuna beaches, and many restaurants. Enjoy Spectacular views while strolling or jogging on the coastal Heritage Trail that begins at Makahuena.
When it’s time to wind down and kick back, Makahuena 5103 provides the perfect ambiance for serenity and relaxation. This spacious, air-conditioned 1400 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo overlooks the basalt cliff and offers panoramic ocean views from just about every room. The living room has beautiful new furnishings and a flat-screen, streaming television. The oceanfront master suite offers a luxurious queen-sized bed. The ensuite bathroom has a vanity and a Roman bathtub. The garden view guest suite is quiet and secluded with a comfortable king-size bed. The fully outfitted kitchen has ample prep area for a culinary creation of your own making or take in. Catching 180-degree sunrises and sunsets is the perfect way to start and end your adventurous day.
Poipu Beach Athletic Club membership is included with your reservation for your registered guests. Located only 3/4 mile from Makahuena 5103, the club offers a resort-style pool with a waterslide, toddler sand pool, jacuzzi, tennis, pickleball, gym, and the Cabana restaurant.
*Maximum occupancy and sleeping arrangements for 4 guests (children inclusive).
***Please note: Although Makahuena 5103 is mostly one level inside (only one step down in the living area); there are multiple steps along the walkways leading from the parking area to the condo entrance***

*Spectrum Internet Service with Wifi
*Linens, bath, and beach towels included.
*Liquid dishwashing soap was provided and replenished.
*Pod dishwashing soap for the dishwasher was provided and replenished.
*A starter supply of toilet paper, paper towel, kleenex, trash bags, hand soaps, bath gel, shampoo, coffee, creamer, and sugar is provided however not replenished.

*One undesignated parking stall is included with the reservation.

What an amazing week we had in your beautiful home! We spent a lot of time seeing the sites, but the truth is we could have stayed here all day every day and enjoyed your spectacular view.

The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space in the bathroom to unpack – your home is warm, welcomy and perfect for a Kauai vacation for 9 days.

The entire experience was incredible and we loved that we had a well stocked kitchen and the layout was fantastic. The view from the porch was exceptional and each morning we saw sea turtles and otters in the surf right outside our place. An exceptional experience for 2 couples and room to be apart too.

Awesome location. We enjoyed watching turtles right from our lanai. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The pool area is very nice. We will definitely be back!

Wow! We can’t say enough about 5103. Quiet, private, and airconditioned. The bed is super comfortable, and it has an amazing view! We watched awesome sunsets every evening from the lanai and fell asleep to the sound of ocean waves. The resort amenities are really well maintained. Loved the flame grill and outdoor cooking and it was great to have the pool and hot tub close enough for a late-night swim. Beach café, surf shop and Poipu Beach Park are within a 10-15 minute walk.

We loved staying here and plan to come again when we visit Kauai next year!!

This place has all we needed to relax and rejuvenate. The kitchen was well stocked, with plenty of towels, lovely linens but best of all was the lanai with multiple places to lounge and get lost in the ocean view. Many whale sightings! Thanks for a great week.

We loved every minute of Kauai! Charlie and I were in Hawaii in 2014, visiting each island 1 day on a cruise from San Francisco. We loved Maui and Kauai. Maui because of whales. So we visited each island for 1 week. No whales at this time and really no comparison on the 2 places. Kauai was fantastic. Your place is perfect – the best location. Will hopefully be back.

From the magnificent views outside the condo

Windows to the incredible views at every turn, we could not get enough!

We visited a different beach every day and loved everyone.
