Fitted with select and comfortable furniture, this unit also takes pride in its roomy, travertine-tiled bathroom, as well as its portable AC in the master bedroom for your cooling comfort. The Kahala complex is in a centrally located spot, making walking to different directions of the resort and neighboring areas convenient. You will love the invigorating sunrise walks to Shipwreck Beach and the southern Poipu coastline, or the sunset walks to Brennecke's and Poipu Beach. Kauai is Nature's Paradise full of outdoor activities, and retiring for the evening in a beautiful home after an active day makes your vacation that much more fun and memorable.

This condo was the perfect base for our family of three to explore Poipu. Comfortable, clean, and more spacious than the photos suggest. We appreciated the pack n play for our toddler, the well appointed kitchen, and spacious lanai. The condo was an easy walk to Poipu Beach - the best kids beach with a playground, pockets of shade, a shallow swim area, and breathtaking turtle watching. The swimming pools in the complex were nothing special but the Poipu Beach Athletic Club membership was a delight. Their pool, restaurant, and amenities were beautiful and a convenient drive. The host was communicative and check in was easy. Would absolutely recommend! Especially to those who have little ones and are looking to take it easy.

We had enough towels, kitchen fully stocked, clean and comfortable. Only thing missing was aluminum foil and plastic wrap. Or more storage containers for leftover food. Thank you!

Very nice hotel staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The only issue was they were repaving the parking area so 5 of my 7 days consisted of parking pretty far from our condo. I had my toddler with me so that was always a challenge. I had to park in the mud at times because all the street parking was taken. Very very inconvenient. Other than the parking, the place was nice and a really nice and close walk to Poipu beach. The Poipu athletic club is sublime. Loved it! I wish I had something like that in my hometown.

Wonderful location! The condo is just as advertised. It has a wonderful view of the ocean out of the kitchen and living room windows. While the main living space doesn't have AC it has tons of windows with screens that you can open up and it feels good with a breeze. The location is perfect for traveling to all areas of the island. The beach right in front of the condos was one of our favorites. If you go down to the beach early in the mornings you can see giant sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals sleeping on the shore. Overall it was a wonderful condo. We can't wait to come back next year

Come to Kahala, this is one of the absolute best places we started on Kauai. The unit was exceptionally large and provided us everything we needed to have a home in paradise. The whole resort sat next to the amazing Poipu beach park where we saw dozens of turtles and a bunch of monk seals. The water was perfect there and was located to lots of shops and food places that we frequented during our stay. Its location also made it so easy to get to so many awesome places on the south and west shores. We are already planning on coming back here and staying here for our whole trip.

Perfectly located close to the beach and near several food/shopping options in Poipu, we were pleased overall with this place. We really appreciated how spacious it was, just a bit bummed at how hot it got in the afternoons. Closing the lanai shades during the day helped a good bit, but the shape of the 2nd floor just traps heat. Aside from that, the only other thing we'd change is the wall-to-wall carpet (i.e. sand magnet). The bedroom slept comfortably with the room A/C and fan. The kitchen was well-stocked and had every dish/utensil we needed during our stay. They even thought to fill the ice cube trays, which was a nice touch.

We rented our unit for 6 nights. It is a comfortable and spacious one bedroom corner unit facing the tennis courts with a bit of a view of the water. This particular unit was very attractive with nice furnishings and very well stocked in terms of kitchen supplies and beach needs. It really did not lack for anything that we might have needed during our stay. There were a couple of issues with the screens that when brought to the attention of management were fixed immediately. These units do not come with air conditioning and for 4 of our nights it was not missed. In fact, it was quite chilly with the louvers opened. The last 2 nights were not as comfortable and we could have used a little help as the humidity climbed and the trade winds ceased. For those concerned about noise with window wide open at night; the rule in quiet from 10PM to 8am and the rule was in place each of the evenings that we were in the unit. Light from neighboring units can be an issue depending on our the units are equipped with shades. I needed to hang a towel on one of our windows and the two nails at the top of the window indicated to me that someone had cleverly rigged some short of shade previously. There were two balconies because it was a corner unit. We took full advantage of eating outside in the morning and evening. The development is pretty (what in Hawaii isn't?) and the pool was very nice and close as well. The tub/shower can be tricky to enter and exit if you have any handicaps, but then again I suppose that you would not be staying on the second floor if mobility was an issue. The internet was not working when we arrived on a Saturday and fortunately we were able to use surrounding internets since they all had the same passwords. The cable company replaced the modem on Friday, but I still found it preferable to use the internet from other units. Location to public beach and stores was excellent.

We showed up on the island with no accommodations for our day of arrival and the following 5 nights. We have been coming to Kauai for decades. We were pleasantly surprised and could not believe the high end Cabinetry and beautiful granite Countertops! The bathroom was amazing and the Walk-in closet was another great surprise! We had an ocean view and shared Nightly sunsets as well as enjoying the convenient restaurant Kalipaki Joe's where we watched football and spent happy hour and awesome blue cheese hamburgers! We slept like babies with the sound of the ocean and we walked just around the corner to our favorite beach every day! We cannot wait to return and stay in unit #224 again! We really lucked out with this condo! The location is great, especially if you plan to explore all the island has to offer including the west side. There are many delicious restaurants in the vicinity. The condo had everything that we needed! Just enough view of the ocean to remind you that you are steps away from Brennecke and Poipu beach. Great view of the sunset! Bathroom and Kitchen were obviously recently updated. Only thing to warn some about- it can get a little warm in the late afternoon given the southwest facing living room and the sun. By evening it was very comfortable again, but some may not tolerate that very well. We would definitely stay this location again!
