Great location! Wonderful ocean views from the condo and a stones throw from the Grand Hyatt. I loved that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom. Kitchen was good but lacked some kitchen supplies (aluminum foil, parchment paper). All in all, I would definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful week at this ideal location on Kauai...close to beach, trails, restaurants and more. Nicely appointed 3-bedroom condo was clean, had comfortable furnishings and an awesome lanai for meals or relaxation with a view of the waves. A first-floor entry, meant no stairs to navigate with luggage, and an easy walk to explore the coastline. The kitchen was very well stocked with every utensil and dish you'd need. With three full baths, 2 with step-in showers, everyone had a private bath. The one bed and bath upstairs had its own lanai to enjoy the view of the Pacific. Inside were ample towels, beach chairs, washer/dryer, and AC in each bedroom. The management team at Poipu Sands takes great care of the grounds and it shows with the abundance of tropical plants around the buildings and the beautiful and relaxing pool area! We walked next door to the Hyatt several times to enjoy a meal or to continue along the cliff-side trail. Poipu is a great location to explore the island...drive west to explore Waimea Canyon, drive north to Hanalei and explore points in between. I highly recommend this place!

Poipu Sands is the ideal location to explore the north coast - Hanalei, the eastern areas including Kapaa, Lihue, and explore west of Poipu in Hanapepe and Waimea Canyon. Unit 419 is beautifully appointed with three lovely king bedrooms and wonderful outdoor lanai to enjoy the sounds of the surf. The ground-floor unit makes access easy...no stairs to climb with luggage! The kitchen, dining, living and 2 bedrooms and 2 baths (one with walk in shower) are clean and nicely furnished as is the third bedroom on the second level with it's own lanai and walk in shower. It has every kitchen appliance you need for the perfect meal and an assortment of beach chairs and towels to accompany your time at the ocean. Poipu Sands is meticulously maintained on the outside as well...beautiful grounds and a fantastic tropical pool. A short walk next door is the Hyatt resort for wonderful meals or beachside relaxation. Or don your hiking shoes and take the Maha'ulepu Heritage trail along the cliffs...spectacular views! Highly recommend Poipu Sands!

Fantastic condo with very easy access to Shipwreck beach and Mahaulepu trail. Very clean and well appointed. Hope we get to stay at 419 again. Was perfect for our young children and the hosts had a pack-n-play and high chair ready for us. Thank you!

Loved our time here. The location was easy to get to, located right off the beach, and better than the listing. The air conditioning was a huge plus. We were able to walk to the beach with both kids. We used the pool, as well as the athletic club facilities. We will definitely be back.

Poipu Sands 419 is an end unit with a nice view of the ocean. We enjoyed breakfast and some dinners on the lanai; the atmosphere was much better than a restaurant. There was a lovely cross breeze in the main bedroom on the 2nd floor and it was peaceful falling asleep to the sound of the ocean

The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. There were beach chairs and towels. Everything was in good working order. The unit was quiet and peaceful. The pool is lovely. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms but not the main living area. It was in the mid-'80s and very humid when we were there but we weren't in the unit much during the day. If you are, in the heat of summer, it is pretty uncomfortable but we were gone or at the water so it didn't really matter. The portable units in the bedrooms worked well and helped to drown out any noise. We had a 3 bedroom and there were 4 of us. We all had plenty of privacy. Lovely stay and conveniently located.

This property was exactly as described - 3 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms (1 lower bedroom also had secondary access to the bathroom from living area). Also, all 3 bedrooms had individual a/c units. Very short walk to the beach, big grassy area off the lanai, and great furnishings as well as TVs. Community BBQs were also very close by, which was helpful for cooking in the full kitchen. We would definitely stay there again!!

The views from the lanai are amazing!! Beautiful water. We could hear the ocean at night. In the upstairs master, we were able to enjoy the breeze at night and so did not need to run the A/C. The kitchen was well stocked. It was a 5-minute drive to Poipu Beach Park, where there is a sandy beach, tidal pool for snorkeling, and waves for surfing. Overall, our experience was excellent.

We had an amazing vacation at Poipu Sands, the 3 bed 3 bath condo absolutely perfect for 3 couples. The dining area set up worked beautifully, amazing meals at the perfect table set up for relaxing and chatting. We highly recommend this unit 419 for 3 couples to share. The only recommendation would be to add 2 more chairs for the lanai, as there are 4 chairs at present. Changing the 2 twin beds to a queen would be amazing, but the twin's were very comfy. Excellent location of Poipu Sands with access to beach and shopping close by.

We had a fabulous stay in Poipu Sands suite 419. It was absolutely perfect in everyway. From the beautiful view to three great bedrooms all with their own bathrooms, it really was an awesome place to stay. All of my dealings with the people at Suite Paradise - from making the initial reservation to checking out on our last day were amazing. They answered all my emails and questions promptly and with great information. They were friendly and helpful and really made me feel like a value customer. The late arrival lock box worked perfectly and seamlessly. Thank you : ) If there was anything amiss it was that there weren't very many cereal bowls - but there were more than enough of every other kind dish and cutlery utensil. (except a teapot) Also, we asked for the twin beds to be pushed together to make a queen/king bed but they didn't stay that way. The mattresses kept separating and creating a large crevasse down the centre of the bed. These minor items will certainly not prevent us from renting this unit again : ) We love Poipu Sands!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Poipu Sands. The location was perfect with a beautiful view of ocean and easy access to the beach. We had plenty of room for our family and would definitely stay here again. There were a couple of problems that occurred, but the response was immediate by management to fix the problems. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Kauai.

    This was our third stay at Poipu Sands, but the first in Unit 419. We arrived late at night and the guest services office was closed, but our keys were right where we had been told they would be so we were in our unit within minutes. Poipu Sands 419 was the perfect location for us. We were traveling with one other couple and chose a 3 bedroom unit even though we only needed 2 bedrooms. The floor plan allowed plenty of room and privacy for each couple as well as an ample common area. The unit looked as though all of the furnishings and decorating had recently been upgraded and the kitchen appliances were top of the line. We just loved the location of the unit. It had an ocean view from both the lanai on the ground level and the lanai off the upstairs master bedroom. It was a short walk to the pool and grill area and parking was close and convenient. The lawn and landscaping were well maintained and beautiful. There were paved paths all around the area so walking to the beach was easy. Except for a few rainy days, we enjoyed everything about our stay and hope to return to Poipu Sands and Unit 419 again soon.

This is actually the third time we stayed in Poipu Sands and the experience and the staff maintained its quality of impeccable Customer Service, clean and comfortable accomodations. We actually did not stay at Ps419, a 3BR & 3BTH Ocean View. The day before our arrival, Malia, the Manager, called us and said that Unit Ps419 is water damaged. There was a major plumbing leak that severely damaged one bedroom downstairs and the living room. Carpets were wet and a lot of drywall needed to be replaced which required 3-4 days of work. In other words, they had to relocate us. What they Offered was 1BR/1.5BTH lower level Ocean Front(Ps513) for my wife and I and a 2BR/2BTH Ocean Front (Ps532)in the same Building for my children and Grandkids so as to accomodate all of us. We were disappointed at first because we all wanted to be together. However, they offered an 2 upgraded Ocean Front Units in exchange for the Ocean View for the same price. It was the best arrangement and the units were awesome,Fantastic and Gorgeous. It turned out good because we were separated from the Kids and just used Ps513 for a meeting place and meals. Malia did an excellent job in turning a negative to a very positive experience. She ought to be commended...

This was our second time to purchase a vacation rental through Suite Paradise. A wonderful experience! Poipu Sands 419 was spacious, clean and nicely updated. For several families traveling together having two master suites was a huge plus. We ate out but the kitchen was well equipped for those who prefer to prepare meals. Having a washer and dryer was also a plus. We would definitely like to return to this condo on a future trip.

We had 2 families, a party of 7 and stayed 18 days. It was awesome, the condo terrific, the pool perfect, and the location could not be beat. We also used the BBQ several nights to grill our fresh Ahi, and that was delicious. I would recommend this resort to everyone looking for a stellar location as well as clean, roomy, relaxing accommodations. Seven from Bend Oregon
