Bright and sunny, feels larger than the pictures suggest, the beautiful view across manicured lawns to the beach (as the picture shows) which is just a short stroll away. Poipu Sands is a quiet location, but close to restaurants, shops and golf.

Very nice and quiet property with a nice view of the pool area and Shipwreck Beach. Very close to Poipu Beach Park, Old Koloa Town, and other shopping villages. Very comfortable for 4 adults but two more can fit. Lanai is a wonderful place to relax and have a meal with your family.

Our stay at Poipu Sands was better than expected and we can't wait to stay in the same condo again. We checked in after hours. Suite Paradise left the keys in a drop box outside the office door and sent us the code to get our keys. It was a very simple easy process. We were very tired when we arrived, so it was nice that their after-hours process is so simple and easy!! The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Our cable wasn't working in the living room when we arrived. We called the front desk the next day and they had someone there within 15 to 20 minutes to look at it. He was a very nice and friendly guy who was able to fix the issue and we didn't have any other issues with it from then on...and had a great chat with the guy fixing the cable :) We loved the location of the condo!! Plenty of great shopping and restaurants close by. Beaches in walking distance. Pool right outside our patio. Amazing views from the patio!! The patio is surprisingly quiet and private with how open the area is. We were concerned that it may be a high traffic area, but it really wasn't at all. It felt very private. They provided beach towels, beach chairs and all other kinds of beach equipment that you would want to use. We went over to the Poipu Athletic Club that we had access to since we stayed at Suite Paradise. That was a great addition and a lot of fun. We just gave them our name and they looked us up in their computer, so very easy as well. We will definitely be back to stay at Poipu Sands and will highly recommend Suite Paradise! Thank you for the great memories!!

The condo was really nice and in a beautiful and convenient location. Very clean and while some of the furniture is a bit dated, it is all in great shape. They need to add pictures of the bathrooms as the large tub in one and the large multi-headed shower in the other was better than I expected. Kitchen appliances are updated and pots, pans, dishes and the like are all in great shape. The place was very spacious for a family of 4. They have boogie boards and child beach toys available for use. Shipwreck beach is closest at a half mile walk but is a little rough for little kids or weak swimmers. But it is only a 5-10 minute drive to other beaches and the pool is really close to the lanai. Definitely take a walk through the beautifully manicured Grand Hyatt hotel grounds that connect to the Poipu Sands path and also take a right at the end of the Poipu Sands path, cross the parking lot and walk on the oceanfront path in front of the adjacent resort. The views are amazing, especially at sunrise.

The condo was well supplied and clean, although the carpet in the living room was stained. Would have been better to continue the tile throughout main areas. There were plenty of dishes even if you entertained and beach chairs and a boogie board, as well as pool noodles, were in the closets. It was very spacious and I was initially concerned about no air conditioning but that wasn't a problem since the nights are cool and there is a lovely breeze. There are fans on the ceiling in each room and that was enough. It was nice to have a bath tub in the main bathroom for the children and the shower in the other bath was high end with tile and stone as well as both a rain shower head and hand held. We liked the ground level. The area is quiet and well maintained and the traffic is light compared to some areas in Kauai. The pool is not spectacular but clean and never crowded. The beach within walking distance had too much surf for children to swim but there is a beach within a couple of minutes drive that is more protected although busy especially on weekends. The village of Koloa is about a 10-minute drive and has a grocery store and pharmacy. The WiFi worked very well.

Great unit on ground floor. Bright and spacious enough for 4 people.If we go back, we will ask for this unit again. Only 2 minutes to the pool and BBQ area with a view on Shipwreck beach.We loved it! The lawn, garden, pool and BBQ area are manicured. Great kitchen with everything you need, but be aware that none of the knives will cut your meat! They need to be replaced or sharpened. Nice lanai with table, chairs and 2 lounge chairs. We found 2 umbrellas and snorkel gears but 2 of the 3 masks are broken. There are beach chairs, but we didn't use them since we rent chairs from Condo Ready and they were at our front door the day we arrived. During our 2 week stay, we had 3 days of power washing, which was quite annoying. They power washed our building, then the next 2. I wish they had told us when we booked. The location is perfect: 5 minutes drive to Poipu Beach and restaurants, 10 minutes to the supermarket in Koloa.

This unit is way better than the picture! Suite Paradise had it set up just the way we asked including a lovely playpen for our 6 month old grandson to sleep in. This is a lovely home with view of Shipwreck Beach from the lanai, close to swimming pool and tennis courts with ample parking. Information on all appliances made settling in very easy. Master shower was a treat.
